The´re many various preparations for herbal remedies recipes  each one is particular to the disorder of
the body. I believe it to be important to go over the  preparations for herbal remedies recipes  so when I post a   herbal remedies recipes you will have a guide on the best way to prepare your herbs for that disorder of the body ailment. The various preparations for herbal remedies recipes  are as follows:

  2. Tea (decoction)

Preparations for Herbal Remedies Recipes Infusion

 
An infusion is made with flowers and/or leaves of both fresh or dried herbs (Herbs can be whole, chopped or powder form.) 

Preparations for Herbal Remedies : Tea (Decoction)
A decoction is made by taking the bark, inner bark, or roots of trees and herbs.

Directions for preparations of herbal remedies recipes: Boil 1 or more cups of water. Add 2 tbsp. of cup-up root or bark per each cup of water. Simmer for 5-10 minutes, then remove from the stove and let steep 25-35 minutes. Strain and repeat the process with the same herbs. Add both liquids together and add honey to sweeten, if desired.

 An enema bag should always be included in any survival kit. Always keep one on hand in the home or when traveling.

Directions for preparations of herbal remedies recipes: : Pour 1-2 qts. luke warm herbal tea ( should be a diuretic:Catnip, Yarrow, Horsetail, etc.)into a clean enema bag. Retain liquid as long as possible while massaging bowel area through abdomen. (Lying on a slant board is ideal.) Evacuate liquid when pressure or discomfort occurs.

Preparations for Herbal Remedies : Fomentation´s (Compress)

Directions for preparations of herbal remedies recipes:  Take a piece of natural cloth (cotton, wool, etc. Note. natural cloth should be used as artificial fabrics deprive the skin from oxygen) and dip into warm infusion or decoction (teas). Wring it out just enough so it isn´t dripping. Place over desired area and secure with a piece of plastic and tape.

Preparations for Herbal Remedies :  Poultice
Directions for preparations of herbal remedies recipes:  A poultice can e made by heating fresh or dried herbs in some water and straining, placing the herbs in a natural cloth and securing with a piece of plastic and tape over desired area. Or a poultice can be made chewing, bruising or chopping fresh herbs and placing them directly on skin or placing in a wet , natural cloth and securing with a piece of plastic and tape over desired area.

Preparations for Herbal Remedies : Bolus

 A bolus is used like a poultice for the internal areas of the vagina or rectal area. Directions for the herbal preparation:Mix herbal powder with olive oil until you reach the consistency of bread dough. Roll into a roll about the diameter of your pinky finger. Cut them into one inch lengths and freeze until ready to use. Insert one or two at night before going to bed. Rinse out with douche or enema in the morning.
